Will D. Statom, 56, was arrested on preliminary charges of battery, a misdemeanor, for attacking the Star Press’ Will Werner after a Delaware County Election Board meeting.

For the record, it's Nick Werner, I'm fairly certain. ;)

Crazy story, though. Never in the right place at the right time with the camera, I guess. Can only be in so many places at once, though ... for now...

Yeah, I was 99.9% sure.

I guess he (Nick) told the guy to shut-up and got pummeled. Made me think to email Barry Welsh to see if he'll do another interview.

Thanks, though, Zia.

Nick Warner must be a pretty tough character, I know for a fact he was verbally attacked a couple years ago for writing a story about a local "hero", he actually got threatened to be sued for publishing the article by three of the people involved, those people are crazy!!!! I like Nick, he seems to be very thorough in his articles.
