UPDATE: 10:05 am - Several Firetrucks from different cities are
lining up down State road 37 to keep the flow of water going. I added
more Pics below.
UPDATE: 9:12 am - It was just called in on the scanner from Chief of
Police Jack Miller that it is going to be an all day event. He has also
asked the Mayor to declare a State of Emergency. The Mayor is headed to
the scene. Again, Please stay away from the area!
It was reported on the scanner that Plastech caught on fire early
this morning (July 14,08) at a little after 7 am. Right now at the
writing of this article the plant is still burning so please stay away
from the area and give the departments the room they need to fight it.
Thanks.
The early ones were with a small digital camera - Al Jordan who runs elwoodindiana.org got those shots. By the time I got up there with the Nikon, the fire was out.
Thanks. Al Jordan (of elwoodindiana.org) will have his pics on Channel 13 tonight... or maybe channel 8? I think 13...

Channel 8 is reporting that the fire is out. Everyone got evacuated safely.
Great pictures KPaul, were you over there? I bet the air quality is not so good, be careful.
