A report in Britain's The Sun newspaper, citing a UCLA Medical Center source, claims that Jackson received an injection of Demerol -- a drug similar to morphine -- shortly before the incident and began breathing very shallow shortly after. A photo of a police 911 computer purportedly from a call related to Jackson says the subject was "not breathing at all."
Are you calling Braveheart sick? He's just reporting what may have been Michael Jackson's final wishes.
Think about what's going to be appearing soon at the Children's Museum. A whole display regarding King Tut. Aren't mummies stuffed and now displayed all over the world? Perhaps, this is just another way to share historical people in a future time.
Most of us prefer to be buried or cremated as the way we end our life on earth. I think being non-traditional somehow offends the senses of people who believe as most of us. But there really is nothing wrong with other choices. And like it or not, there are other choices to be had.
I just think the idea is kind of sick, you don't have to worry about me doing that. I remember a story about a queen or princess when I was little that had her body put in a glass casket and her husband kept it with him always.
Here's a quote from Ronald Reagan: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."
I think the lesson to be learned here is that we need to keep in mind that it's OK for us to disagree with life (or afterlife) choices that others make. However, different cultures, dfferent religions, even different people make choices that we find strange or sick, AND THAT'S OK. CC makes a GREAT point. Most of us place no great negative emphasis on the King Tut exhibit, but if our next door neighbors choose the same path, that makes them weird.
BTW, I think stuffing a loved one is weird also. I just try to keep in mind, it's THEIR choice.
Why do they call it "Common Sense" when so damn few people have it?

Thank you Alf, I could not remember, so very sad for those children, I am sure that someone from the Jackson family will take them in!

Amen Braveheart!!!
Wonder if the Jackson family will go through with this:
JACKSON TO HAVE BODY STUFFED BY DOCTOR DEATH
15th March 2009
MICHAEL Jackson will achieve his dream of immortality by being stuffed with plastic by Dr Death.
Now Jacko, 50, who shares a love of fedora hats with Von Hagens, is to be the latest to sign up so that his physique will last forever.

That is sick Braveheart, I mean what would one do with a stuffed family member, hang them on their wall with the deer they have shot?

We already have these exhibits in existence of real people whose bodies were donated specifically to science. http://www.bodiestheexhibition.com/bodies.html
