I cannot, nor will I attempt to, speak for any other member of the board or administration. No member of the ACSC Board of Trustees has any authority as an individual, the authority rests in the Board as a whole only. I think it was appropriate.All of her children was in the police &/or fire departments(& more of her family-her sister(dispatch) & nephew(fireman) also,one of her grandsons is a officer in another state).Her son Skip has done alot that most would never know.I cant believe you dont know the lady & you want to make a comment about her(or her funeral) after she has passed away.Maybe you are nuts?

you seem to think I showed disrespect to the woman. I didn't.
I think it's nuts to waste taxpayers dollars when things are as they are. 15 police cars were excessive. Why couldn't they use their personal vehicles?
And even if she was related to me, I would think the same thing. It's the quality of respect shown, not the flash.
I would hope that her family would have honored her as she lived not just a show when she passed.

Shame on you people that are complaining about the police cars in the funeral procession. The woman is dead, she had several children that worked in the police and fire departments, her son is the mayor. What's wrong with some of you?
