Indy is going to be looking for a new coach. ESPN is reporting the colts have called a press conference for 5:00 to announce he is stepping down.

There are a million reasons not to do something, you just need to find the one reason to do it.

They already have a coach if he steps down... Jim Caldwell

I wish he would stay...but all good things must come to an end.  He is a great coach and anyone who follows him is gonna have a great bunch of players to work with.  Caldwell has been with the Colts for a while now, so I don't fore see any major changes in the way they play.  Whatever Dungy decides to do, I wish him the best.  As of right now, all that I am reading says that they have called a press conference for 5 o'clock but will not say what his decision is......

What??  You can't understand what I am saying? I am speaking plain penguin!!

Sorry to see you go Coach, 13 news at noon just confirmed he is retiring. He has done a tremendous job for the Colts. He will be missed.

I want to give Caldwell the benifit of the doubt but......coaches like Bill Cowher are still available.  And he is a proven coach with a Superbowl ring on his finger.  I bet he'd take the Indy job in a heartbeat.

Why is Dungy stepping down?  Is there a medical problem? Family problem?

It is hard to see him go and he will be missed greatly.  Whis the very best to Tony and his family.  God be with them.

Dungy is overrated ..... he has probably a top ten QB of all time and he only got to the Super Bowl once .... he is not an NFL elite coach

now before you pile on and flame me into a crispy piece of bacon, im not saying he is no good at all .... he just isnt as good as he is made out to be

Subsequent to this now Moore and Mudd have left. When coupled with the free agency player losses and the influx of newbies, the Colts will do well to go 6-10 this season.

And the crying has begun: (Manning)
