They always started the season on time. Would borrow girls from the other teams that weren't playing that night to fill in for the girls that were playing ball at high school. I wouldn't have realized this if it wasn't for having girls playing senior ball for about 6 years.
I'm surprised that no one has gotten into trouble. High School (IHSAA) rules state they are not allowed to participate anywhere other than the school while the season is going on. That's why Riverfield waits so that none of the girls get into trouble---takes the conflict totally out of it.
That's what I'm saying...the girls on the high school softball team couldn't play until high school was over......the girls not on the high school team, but on another little league team would sub for them..until their season was over and they could start playing.
