Ind. hard wood in my woods

It's old growth, next to my creek, I found several  hardwood trees yesterday while looking for mushrooms.

Easy access to log,,,, "IF" you need some wood that will last a lifetime.

Let me know,,, it's yours at no cost.

I had to take a pic of the "cave" we have in the woods. Can you imagine the critter nest in that thing?! It's quite a tree for sure. Instead of a "got milk" sign, you need a "got wood" sign.

Does your dog like to lay in there? I bet it is cool in the summer, and with your dogs black coat, surely he needs a retreat from the heat.

Side not-it won't be long until summer heat is here, make sure all outside pets have plenty of fresh water and a cool place for shade.

Nice photos Captain...

Thx for the share...

you sure a TROLL does not live in that tree..

Information Pukwudgies
This park in Indiana features 10 different structures sculpted into the earth by ancient Native Americans. The biggest is called the "Great Mound" and was a ceremonial site constructed around 160 BC.

The park has also had modern-day sightings of a creature of Native American legend, the pukwudgies. Pukwudgies are small glowing, grey-skinned trolls around 2 feet in height. They have exaggerated noses, ears and fingers. The pukwudgies have the ability to turn into animals and to control the spirits of those they have killed. They use these controlled spirits to then lure more victims in.

May talk with a friend about the hardwood..

4fun, no the dog doesn't crawl in the tree, he's too busy checking every scent he can, deer,fox,coyotes,skunks,possum,etc.etc. Here's a pic of his swimming pool in the summer. He's the most happy dog when he's swimming, but what lab isn't.

Thank you, he adopted me last year,LOL. I was working at one of our properties getting it ready to sell and he came up to me and refused to leave. Four hours later he was still there by my side and it was time for me to come home, so I brought him along. He was thin and hungry and I just couldn't leave him, thinking I'd find the owners in a day or two. Well, no one in the hood owned him and most ads in the paper were for dogs looking for homes. I assume he was dumped off by the owner after they found out the cute puppy turned into a hungry/hiper dog that needs to run and play. We are blessed to have the perfect home for him to live it up, and he's my buddy now.

I would not doubt that they are fantastic dogs, taking a dog into your family that has been given up is such a wonderful thing, I have one of those in my family!
