Anderson Indiana News in the Night

 I am not sure if I missed anything or not. Here is what I got.

   3:19 ATTENTION ALL UNITS!Be on the lookout for a 2002 black Pontiac Grand Am that was stolen from the area of the 2500 block of e 9th st. between 9:00 pm last night and 3:00am this morning.

   3:33 K-9 4 was sent to assist ISP at 38th and MLK for a traffic stop. ISP said there were 4 people in the car and the officer could smell signal 60 (marijuana).

  It was really slow when I first started out then it picked up a little bit. Here is what I have for you today.

 There was a major house fire on the eastside of Anderson last night. It was called in a little before midnight. I was not near a radio when the call went out so I had to really listen and then go out for a ride tonight to learn exactly where it was. It was a house ( I am pretty sure that it was unoccupied) behind the FOP lodge in the 2600 block of  Mounds road. AFD did not turn the scene over to the investigators until around 3:00 am. I missed a lot of APD calls because of the working fire calls that were being transmitted. Here is what I do have for you.

  Hey guess who? It was quiet after I got started. There was one interesting call though and it kind of took some time to sort out. I am not even sure that they had it all sorted out but they were sure working on it. Here it is.

 It was very busy at times so some of the calls were interfering with the others. I try to keep everything straight and usually can but I am not sure about last night.It was almost dead for a little over the first hour that I listened then it picked up.  Here is what I have for you today.

   3:55 Medic 3 200 block of w 19th st person ill.

   3:58 APD was sent to the 1500 block of n Madison for a 911 hang up call. The second time they heard a female she could not speak ( I just repeat it I do not always understand it).

 Okay here it is a little late. Well okay a lot late but I had a job to do today and just did not have time to do it earlier. Here is what I have for you.

   3:01  Engine 2, Medic 3  2700 block of Roundtable dr. 

   3:10  APD was sent to the 2400 block of w 25th st for a man not letting a woman in the apartment. They are both on the lease.

   3:24 APD traffic stop 11th and Madison.

   3:30 APD traffic stop 22 and Cedar.

   3:31 Ladder 1, Medic 1 unconscious 600 block of Hendricks.

 It was a bit busy this morning. I seen some ISP cars rushing to some calls but I do not listen to them. Just our own APD and AFD and some of the county fire depts. Here is what Have just for you this morning.

   2:05 Ladder 8, Medic 2, Rescue unconscious 4100 block of Roundhill dr. Medic 3 was leaving the hospital right after this call and volunteered to take it for Medic 2.

   2:10 APD was sent to the Gas America at 53rd and Scatterfield  for a man doing something. I missed this when the fire dept was talking.

 It was a pretty steady night while I was out. At one point though I managed to get the radio stuck and did not realize that it was not scanning. Here is what I have for you today.

   1:15 APD was sent to the 1100 block of w 2nd for a male and female fighting. The first officer was hearing things slamming. One of the parties left and that was the end of that call.

 It was a pretty busy morning for both APD and AFD. They are still busy as I am doing this. Here is what I have for you this morning.

    3:16  APD was sent to Prairie Farms dairy on Broadway to do periodic checks. They said that a male (race unknown) wearing a black button type shirt was walking around. He had came from Eva's and was now walking around Prairie Farms. 

   3:17 APD was sent to Red Lobster for a Sonitrol alarm. They were quickly disregarded.

 It was really slow this morning while I was out which made me pretty happy. My tape recorder quit and we were late getting started. I had to hand write all of my notes and really did not have time for it. Here is what I have for you today.

   3:14 APD was sent to the 1000 block of Madison ave. The caller was having trouble with his son and wanted to file a incorigible charge against him.

   3:28 APD was sent to the 1800 block of C st for a orange truck being loud.
