 I thought that last night was slow. It does not help that the office has me starting at least an hour later now either. I still have to be done by 6:00. Really a wonderful way to run their business (into the ground). Well here are the two items that I have for you today.

   3:40 APD was sent to 23rd and Pitt st to meet with a person that found a white 2 year old female wandering around. I guess they found who was supposed to be watching the little girl and then gave them a ride out of town.

 WOW ! What an incredibly slow night. I kept checking th radio to make sure it had not died or got bumped onto just one channel (it was working just fine). Here is what I have for you today.

   2:45 Medic 3  6300 block of Arrowhead dr. person ill.

   3:02 APD was out on a subject by the sheds at Lowes.

   3:17 APD was sent to assist ISP at Scatterfield and Hillcrest.

   4:29 APD was sent to the 2600 block of Silver for a man having trouble with 2 women that were not there now ( see them women can be trouble even when they aren't there).

   It was pretty busy and exciting at times. It was also very confusing and sometimes very hard to hear. I think I kept it all straight and got at least most of the details. Here is what I have for you today.

   2:37 Ladder 8, Medic 2 chest pains Meijer's.

   2:45 Medics were sent to the 500 block of w 3rd for a woman ill.

   2:53 APD was sent to Rick's mart at MLK and Madison. The woman caller said that a black man was trying to get into her car. He had left before the officers arrived.

 Hello, Hello ! Is this thing on? I kept looking at it all morning to make sure it was still working. I think that it was just to hot for all the wife batterers and burglars and such. I am glad we don't have the little firebugs we had going around this summer. Here is what I have for you today

   2:38 APD was out on a couple of subjects on Jefferson.

   2:39 ATTENTION ALL UNITS! Possible drunk driver all over the road southbound from w 53rd on Madison a red vehicle.

 A lot of things were going on this morning that I am sure were not dispatched over the radio. I would hear things about calls that officers would be on that I know I did not miss. Here is what I have today ( I will include some of the things that are not complete).

   2:52 APD is out on a subject at 19th and Central ( they were looking for someone on foot earlier in the night in that area).

   2:53 APD was at the Firemans lodge (did not hear them sent). They were having dispatch call a 15 year old girls mom to come and get her.

  Stuff still happens. Somehow I was not getting all of it though. Here is what I got!

   2:02 APD was sent to Jimbo's 3100 Main st for a female in a pink shirt trying to sell pills in the parking lot to customers.

   2:03 K-9 1 traffic stop I-69 southbound 21 mm.

   2:11 APD out on a subject at Arbor Village.

   2:13 K-9 1 traffic stop I-69 northbound 22 mm.

   2:16 APD was sent to the 2700 block of Fairview st for a very intoxicated female. who has broken out some of the windows of the callers residence.

  Stuff happens, here's todays stuff.

   2:27 APD was sent to 12th and Madison to the car wash for a car playing loud music.

   2:42 Ladder 1, Medic 1, Rescue  Lincolnshire apts 300 block of w 12th st. unconscious.

   3:18 Engine 6  200 block of w 19th public service.

   3:28 APD was flagged down at the Ramada, a limo driver wanted to report theft from his limo.

   3:28 APD traffic stop Hazlett and Madison.

  Did you ever see the movie Groundhogs day with Bill Murry an Andie McDowell? You know where Bill Murry just keeps going through the same day over and over?  Well I am sure that some of the APD officers felt very similar this morning after having to keep dealing with the same two people all morning. The big difference is the couple that are here aren't at all  funny! Here is what I have for you this morning.

  2:40 Engine 7, Medic 3   700 block of Lindberg trouble breathing.

   It was kind of steady this morning. When I started out APD already had a couple minor females that they were checking for alcohol consumption and taking home. Here is what I heard this morning.

   2:07 APD was sent to the 900 block of w 9th for a 911 hang up.  A female caller said there was a male inside her house and hung up. The dispatcher could hear yelling in the background. He was seen running west towards 10th st.

   2:19 APD traffic stop 18th and e Lynn. No ticket.

  The storms made it very hard to hear and some calls were missed. Here is what I have today.

   3:04 APD was sent to  Motel 6, 5810 Scaterfield to  take report of a man that possibly stole items  out of her purse. She called in and said herself that she had some mental problems. Officers had  dealt with her already and she was not liking what they were saying. One of the officers asked for the dispatcher to save the conversation where she had called in.

   3:20 APD was sent to the 2600 block of Fowler to take report of a possible stolen car.
