  Well there were times when dispatch had officers calling in. I am not sure why they were having to call in but I am thinking it was for some calls.

  When I first started out there was a call to Jimbo's at around 2:35. I did not hear what it was about at first but later learned that a woman's purse had been taken. The purse was retrieved and another woman was arrested, however it did not sound like all of the contents were recovered.

 It was not too busy but interesting at times. Here is what I heard while I was out.

  At about 3:10 There was an alarm in the 4400 block of Brenda dr. There was a man in the home claiming to be the home owner but he said he did not know the code. I did not hear anyone arrested last night or  a scene tech called out so I am   pretty sure that everything was okay there.

 A huge fire and multiple murder did not happen here over night. Here is what did happen while I was out

  2:16 APD was sent to the Payless at 3050 Meridian. Their security called and said there was a heavy set woman in the lot who was very disoriented and she said that she did not know who she was. The woman was a walk off earlier in the evening from one of the local "help houses".

  2:20 APD was sent to the 1500 block of Nichol for a possible break in. The dispatcher said the caller was not very specific on information.

 I will be brief. The press kept breaking so I did not get started until 3:21. I ran everything and was done at 5:24 ( about 45-50 minutes quicker than the average time). It was slow while I was out. Here is what I have.

  3:31 Pizza King 38th and Madison escort.

  3:40  APD was sent to the 3100 block of Fletcher. The caller said that someone had just busted out the windows of his daughters car. He did not know which way they went. It wound up being just egged and toilet papered and such but no broken windows.

  It was pretty busy most of the night. Here is what I heard while I was out.

  2:29 APD was sent to the 2000 block of Jefferson for a return call. Earlier a female was battered and was sent to the hospital. A female threatened the woman caller. She said she was going to get a gun and shoot her in reference to the female that went to the hospital earlier. The caller did not have the name of the female who made the threat.

  It started out a little busy then it dropped right off. Here is what I heard while I was out.

  A little before 2:00 I seen 4 marked APD cars heading south on Brown-Delaware. I am not sure of where they were going exactly but It was on the west side. They were serving a warrant on a man and they finally did catch him. He had 4 warrants through MCPD.

 It was kind of busy on a few calls this morning. Here is what I heard while I was out.

  2:44 APD was sent out to Steak and Shake. A clerk at a nearby hotel ( I missed which one) called them and said that an intoxicated male was harassing people and just went into the Steak and Shake. Police arrived and talked to everyone and did not arrest the man. The clerk told them if the man came back with the same attitude as he had when he left he would be staying somewhere else.

 A little more happened than the past couple days but not much. Here is what I heard while I was out.

  2:03 APD was sent to the 1700 block of Noble for adults ad children outside making a lot of noise and causing a disturbance.

  2:06 APD was backing ISP on a traffic stop at 29th and Madison

  2:29 APD traffic stop 8th and John.

  2:42 Medic 3  1600 w 20th Person ill.  The man just needed help up.

  2:49 APD was sent to the 1500 block of w 4th to check the area. The caller said that she heard what sounded like 2 gunshots.

 Another really slow morning while I was out.

 2:50 APD was sent to the 200 block of w 8th for an alarm. It checked secure.

 A little after 3:00 APD was sent to 29th and Meridian for a woman on foot. The caller was passing by and thought that he heard her yell for help. She had two black males following her in a car. The officers were there very quickly but could not find them after a good search of the area.

  Super slow this morning. Here are the few calls that I heard while I was out.

  3:10  APD was sent to 19 w 9th for an alarm call. It checked secure.

  3:44  APD was sent to the 2800 block of Nichol to the old Payless building. A newspaper carrier said that there was an open door. When the officers arrived there were many open doors that were chained up. They decided to call during the day and see who actually owned the building and find out why the doors were open.

  5:08  APD was sent to the 1100 block of n Madison ave. for an alarm call. It checked secure.
