This is the first of many.. The first one is always my favorite.

These are Irises that were at my Late Grandmothers home.. after she Passed.. I dug some and planted them at my home.. They always remind me of Grandma.. she loved them.. The first one is always my favorite.. Hope you enjoy it too.

How beautiful. I love them too. Mine are mostly dark purple but last year daughter in law gave me white one and burgundy one and I am anxiously awaiting them.
Don't want some dark purple ones do you? They need to be thinned out big time.

Iris are free-know your woman has more to do than bake bread for others. Whenever is the right time just come and do it. Just pm me and I will give you the address-unless you saw it in filling station. lol
Thank you, very nice of you.. She love to make the bread and since we are now a 3 bread machine family. she makes it up two to 3 loaves at a time..So no trouble there..will PM to make arrangements..

NANA... you should get some more.. they are easy care.. & beautiful..
You can take some iris to Nana if you are inclined. Pretty much can lay them on the ground where you want them to go if she doesn't want to dig etc. She lives fairly close to me.
If Nana would like some, I would gladly dig some additional ones and take them to her.. Maybe they will bring a bright cheer to your day..
