Bird's Smokehouse Barbecue

Are you guys reviewing or just putting them on the map?

I told them it's ok to just put them on the map at this point.

The 'reviews' can also be comments to the original piece.

Some aren't mapping, though, so I'll wait til later after it settles down and go in and map them ... or might bug Craig about it later to help.

The 4 I put in didn't map. So I will hold off until thats fixed to add more so I don't create more work for someone else.

I just thought other people would me more likely to post their reviews, if the place was here to begin with, instead of having to hunt down the address and phone number and add it in also.

When I get really bored at work sometime I will also go back and edit the ones I added with my reviews. Because I eat out way to much.

Well Dawg listing them at dinner time isn't very nice :(  LOL. I'm suddenly having my mouth water for barbeque sauce (on potato wedges, of course).

I have been to Bird's though. Expensive for barbeque (or at least it seemed like it at the time) but it was good. I may be biased, though, because I used to work across the street in the empty building that was once Burlington, so being in that area brought back such great memories that could have influenced my mood and my tastebuds. Haven't been back, though, since giving up meat 13 months ago. 

TheDawg, they're not mapping automatically for some reason.

I agree with you on getting the restaurants in there is a first step.

I went ahead and fixed the mapping on this one.

I'll let everyone know on the announcement thread for this when I get the auto-addresses fixed. I *think* I know what it might be.

Good southern style BBQ in a nice building, and fast service.  The price was in line with similar BBQ places, so I did not complain.  I will be back!

Agree with all. I would love to have that room at my house. Very cool. Drive thru service is good too. They used to have specials that were good. They had a drive thru breakfast for a while in the winter. Hope they can keep it going.

Where's TheDawg???? Oh yeah, he did get married didn't he? ;)

Yeah, I've been thinking it'd be nice for him to reappear and make some good scanner posts like he used to.
