765-642-7815Captain D's is a wonderful little place if you love fish. Their staple is fried, but they have many other things on the menu. Sweet tea is great, too. Always friendly and usually not too busy except for Sunday afternoons after church.

I love getting the basket of "crumbs" and hushpuppies.
Their baked fish is good for those of us that are not supposed to eat a lot of fried food.
What is funny, to me, is the never-ending battle between my parents over fast food fish fare. My dad likes LJS better. Not Mom, oh no, it makes her burp and it's too greasy, she says. She wants Cap'n D's. But Dad doesn't like the flavor of Cap'n D's.
Oh the drama!
We went a couple weeks ago on Sunday, they had all you care to eat Deep fried Shrimp, Hush puppies & Fish.. very good if i say so.. will try this one again..
Momma_Mayhem drinks Coke by the bucket load.. lol she said they have the best fountain Coke around Anderson.. Now she even drive there to get one..
After I asked they came right around with extras, a young lady with tonges to load up you plate with what ever your choices were..
I used to love their fried fish, but then it seemed so greasy and not supposed to eat fried food I went to the baked fish which is really good. I have tried a couple of their bowl specials with pasta, fish and I think brocoli one that was really good.

Their baked fish & specialty bowls sound really good! I drive by there all of the time but I have never stopped because I just assumed it was another "Long John Silvers" or something with only deep fried stuff on their menu.

They used to have really good chicken salads in the summer time
Don't waste your money on their fried green tomatoes when they have them. They are a joke. Paper thin and just not good, save your money and make them at home like I do.
