Moms lets swap our cast-offs

Good idea. Anyone interested?

It might help to post the sizes or girl/boy stuff, I might be.

There are lots of website for swapping things.

AndersonINFreecycle  has 71 memebers http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AndersonINFreecycle/ and people offer things for free.  There seems to be clothes offered.  I was hoping to get CD cases.  There was a wooden desk from old 25th Street school offered. 

I dont think I have much to trade, but my husbands nephew is going to have a baby boy.(not really him, lol) If anyone has some baby boy stuff, for the right price I might be interested in getting him some things, as well as helping someone get rid of their stuff.

Heck I thought you were going to get rid of kids or ex-husbands from the beginning of the thread.  Sorry.

I would be interested in something like this and have recently talked to a few other mothers about this same idea. We have a handful of children and all get hand-me-down's except the first (no one to hand down to him) and the last (she doesn't like boy things). I don't have a lot right now, I donated most everything to a new charity this summer but I am sure we will have more in the future.

If I can do anything to make it easier to do this on AFP, let me know. Otherwise, I'll step aside and let this evolve (hopefully) like the Scanner News thread and some other things at AFP that newcomers might not realize didn't exist at one time on this site.

I'd like to see something like this take off here on AFP, in the mean time I guess I'll join the Yahoo freecycle group.

I use yahoo freecycle but I end up with way to many people who don't show up to pick up what I offered. That really bugs me. I will start offering things here though if people are interested! I always have odds and ends that need a new home.

 For starters: I have 2 summer dresses size 4T. One is a lt blue jumper with sm dark blue and pink flowers. It has an attached white t-shirt, silver necklace, and two pockets on the front. It is very cute! The other is white with large yellow and green flowers with green and white checked ties on the side. It buttons halfway down the front and has a cute white collar and lace. My daughter wore the yellow one only a couple of times last summer but decided they were not princess dresses and will have nothing to do with them anymore. So, if you have little girl or know a little girl who can use them this spring and summer you are welcome to have them!

Anybody have them things some call dust collectors others call it excercise equipment. Looking for something relatively cheap, since I really dont know if I would use it.LOL . Just trying to be honest, if you have something let me know and I may just decide I need that. Gotta try something.
