Lost Dog - Lab / Pitbull Mix

Choco is 8 months old.

He is a lab , pit bull mix. they adopted him from the animal shelter. It was a big deal because they came out and did a inspection of their home before he could even be adopted.

Lost near St. Marys school. He didn't have a collar. on as he broke it. He is a very friendly puppy...

Don't call the dog pound, go in as they will tell you anything on the phone.  Also check with Humane Society and see if anyone turned in a found dog.

Yeah, I am so happy when a pet is reunited with the family, I would miss my babies terribly if something ever happened to them!

Time for a better collar. I see soooooo many dogs running around without collars on and no owner in site. I have had dogs and understand that they occasionally see an open door as their escape from The Rock but it didn't take long to realize that we had to do something. I have seen this dog or one like it around occasionally and it doesn't look any more or less friendly than a dog that could take your head off.
I hope things are going well with your reunited pet and hope others see this as a signal that they need to check their dog's collars, take precautions when letting them out, and investing some time in making sure their dog stays their dog.
