Puppies
The person who lives across the street and down a few houses, up and moved, leaving behing Momma and 8 pups that were not even three weeks old. The dog pound was called on the roaming Momma dog, but I didn't have the heart to let him take her. So stupid me, took them. Now I have 8, healthy, onry, little puppies to find homes for. I am at my city limit with animals so I know we can not keep any of them. Besides my house has no more room. I figure Momma will be "staying" here for a while BECAUSE SHE NEEDS SPAYED. I keep reading the paper about the shelter and thought they didn't need to be burdened with these guys so we set up our kennel out back and have fed and housed them for a couple of weeks now. If you are interested send me a Pm and we can sit up a time and a place. PLEASE HELP, THERE IS NO ROOM AT A SHELTER FOR THESE GUYS AND BESIDES MY KIDS WOULD BE SO UPSET TO SEE THEM NOT GO TO HOMES.

Puppies always go fast at the shelter. It's the older ones that are still out there but adoptable.
I think teb's right.
It would probably help to describe the pups or post a picture.
You might think about doing a classified in the HB as if it is free there is no charge. That might be a good option. Are they just mutts or what do you think they are? Might be good to say in the ad rescued pups and Mom.
I guess you can call them Heinz 57, I hate to call these babies mutts. To describe... there are two that are black (both have a patch of white on the chest, but one's is almost not noticeable), three brindle ones (one is the only girl and she is the smallest of the litter), two tan (my personal favorite is tan with highlights of black; you'd have to see him, I've never seen one like him), and last but not least a white one with a brindle and a black patch. Of course, my kids have named them and they have been spoiled!! Between my kids and my friends kids I'm surprised they learned how to walk.
I wish I could take a couple but I have finally realized I am too old to take care of a dog properly. That is why I found a great home fro Jackie (my child from hell) I miss the heck out of her but I know she has a great loving home.
Need2know, we had a stray deliver 11 pups under a shed in our back yard a couple years ago..
We posted an add on AndersonFreeCycle and the emails came in, all were sent to homes.. Even though they were strays we still interviewed the possible new owners..
We have a Black Lab, & Border Collie mix pup we rescued or we would try to help..
Good luck.. and God Bless you for caring..
I wish I could hit the lottery and move to a ranch to house them all!! I just came in the house from playing with them. They are so big (meaning agewise, teeth) now Momma has to get up on the top step so they can't nurse. They eat their puppy food great and drink water like crazy. Some of them seem to have long legs. I can't figure out what they are a mix of. Doesn't matter to us though, they are all adoreable. Thanks for your idea. I am a member but I haven't had anything to give so I haven't been on in a long time...forgot all about it lol.
