Richardson v. Fowler Jury Trial Begins in Anderson on Tuesday

Area: Cities: Topics: Types:

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -  A horrific collision on Satterfield Road on April 29, 2005 changed Vanessa Richardson’s life forever.  Her bloodied head was smashed through the windshield, knocking out several of her front teeth.  Perhaps most compelling, Richardson is an epileptic who was in remission at the time, and the violent collision triggered the return of epileptic seizures, which she has suffered ever since the accident. The defendant in the case has admitted liability.

The 6-person civil jury trial is scheduled to being this Tuesday, August 19 at 9:00am in the Honorable Jack Brinkman’s Madison Superior Court 2.  The trial is expected to last through Thursday, August 21.

Not that you couldn't

Not that you couldn't tell!!  The article's a tad Pro-Plaintiff, if you will!  The last parapraph is clearly an advertisement:

You shoulda charged 'em for that (or deleted it from the article)!

how does someone find out

how does someone find out the settlement? I know her personally, and she has only had 1 seizure in the 3 years since the wreck. It was last summer. She definatley has tried to play the victim here and her friends/family are exhausted over it all.

I don't know anything about this case (other than what's in this thread) but I'm guessing that since it 'settled,' there are all kinds of confidentiality & non-disclosure provisions associated with the settlement.  Someone could probably tell you, but they'd have to kill you!!
