Anderson Fire Department Battles Fire at Pearl House
ANDERSON, IN - A little after 10 a.m. this morning, Anderson Fire Department's Ladder 1, Engine 6, Engine 7, Medic 3, Rescue, and U20 were all called to a structure fire at the 1400 block of Pearl Street in Downtown Anderson. According to information over the police scanner, Medic 2 and CATS bus service were called in to keep occupants warm.
By 10:26 a.m. reports over the scanner were reporting that the fire was in the back of the structure and was possibly heading toward the attic. By 10:29 is was reported that the attic was "fully involved."
At 10:31 a.m., the decision was made to pull everyone out and go into defensive mode. By 10:33 it appeared all firefighters were out of the structure.

I am soaked wet.. it was so cold that ice was freezing in the air hitting me as i walked close.. the cold air seamed to even freeze my camera. I am no photographer but knew Kpauls "Becky' was down for the count.. figured it was the best to do for him with him providing the site for us to read..i smell of smoke and need a bath..lol
