Anderson Songwriter Receives Humanitarian Award, Plans to Retire

ANDERSON, IN - Songwriter Steve Wallace will retire from the music
business after 25 years to run his Racing teams full time. During his music career Wallace, 38, has written over 200 songs and had numerous number #1 hits with various artists in different genres.
He has won numerous songwriting awards and been in numerous newpaper and magazines for his accomplishments. He was also recognized by former Anderson Mayor Mark Lawler in 1997, late Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon in 2002 and Former President George W. Bush.

Wallace received a Humanitarian award from the International Society Of Poets this past weekend for his dedication to helping the American Cancer Society through the sale of his music and BMX team which he will continue to do through racing.
