Citizen Reporting of Potholes Encouraged

ANDERSON, IN - Warmer temperatures and longer days mean one thing to the City of Anderson Street Department - the beginning of the annual "pothole season."

This year, citizens will have two avenues to report the springtime nuisance to the street department for speedy repair.  Citizens may report a pothole by leaving a message at 648-6445 or by filling out a web-form at www.CityofAnderson.com.

"We are making every effort to respond to problems with road conditions in an efficient manner," said Todd Leever, City of Anderson Street Commissioner.

"We intend to fill holes within 24 hours of our first notification, contingent upon the weather conditions.  Breaks in the weather will allow us to make repairs, otherwise, the asphalt won’t set properly," added Leever.
