News in the Night 6-14-09

 It was a busy night and a couple of times the fire dept and police calls were on top of each other.

 Here is what I have.

 2:36 APD was sent to Jimbo's for a fight. When the officers arrived it quickly dispersed and the people went inside.

 2:39 APD was sitting on a call to the 1000 block of w 5th. st. It was a return  trouble with call. The man that was there had taken the females car earlier and now he has returned and they are arguing.He was taken to jail. If I understood it right he had multiple warrantsfor him.

 2:42 APD was sent to the 200 block of Placid ct. a man had been battered by his girlfreind

 2:42 APD was sent to the bar at 14th and Fletcher for several Mexicans in the parking lot fighting. Weapons were unknown. When the officers arrived they said they all took off.

 2:57 APD recieved a call from a female in the vicinity of 5th and Delaware, All she managed to say was she needed the police and then her phone went dead. The officers were unable to locate her. 

 2:59 APD was flagged down in front of Sonny Rays.

 3:05 APD was called out to the gate on Layton rd at the Nestle' plant for several intoxicated subjects wandering around by there. It turned out they had permission to camp out there ( by Nestle' not  at it).

 3:15 APD was called to the Taco Bell at 53rd and Scatterfield for subjects fighting in the drive thru. They were gone before officers arrived.

 3:15 APD traffic stop at Sonny Rays ( hey you are already there might as well take advantage of it).

 3:28 APD was called to back MCPD out at Walmart on a traffic stop. I am pretty sure this was the car that had been involved with the fighting at Taco Bell.

 4:08 APD was sent to a lot that used to be a gas station for a male and female fighting. I did not hear where it was but the back up officers were all on the westside.

 Around 4:18 I missed the initial alarm call to the Christian center. The fire personnel think it was set off from a faulty smoke detecter.

 4:28  APD was sent to the area behind Deluxe Donuts on fowler and Scatterfield for a gunshot. There was only one call at first. A little while later a second call was recieved and the caller told what house it had came from. There was a criminal wrecklesness charge and guns confiscated..

4:54 ATTENTION ALL UNITS. possible drunk driver Northtbound on Pitt st from e 32nd. The car was a white Impala.

 4:57 Medic 2  person ill in the 1900 block of Central. The person had cut their wrists but they were unsure if it was a suicide attempt.

 4:58 APD was sent to the 2300 block of Fowler for an intoxicated female who would not leave the residence.

 5:02 Medic 3 person ill in the 3000 block of e 38th st.

 5:09 Medic 1 person ill 2300 block of Fowler ( APD request). The woman had passed out.

 At 5:23 Medic 3 said that there was no patient and that they were waiting for the family to arrive. The callers husband had died several years before, I did not understand where confusion was at exactly in this call . But it was there.

  Thats all I got its not a lot. But just have a great day anyway.
