NEWS IN THE NIGHT 07-06-09

 I should be back to normal time in a day or two. Here is what I have for you today.

 1:46 APD was sent to the 2400 block of Fletcher for people crawling in and out of a window of an abandoned house.

 1:56 APD was sent to the 1800 block of e 8th st . A neighbor said that the door looks like it has been kicked in on a womans  residence and that she has had trouble with a man lately. He said that he yelled in for her and she did not answer. He had not seen her around there either. He would like a welfare check done on her.

 2:06 APD was sent to Rick's mart at MLK and Madison for a male  and female fighting. The caller did not say if they had weapons and did not speak english very well.

 2:10 APD traffic stop at 22nd and Locust. One of the APD officers had the other pull over a red Olds Alero that they thought may have been involved in the fight at Rick's  mart. At 2:15 one of the officers wanted someone to go back to Ricks to see if there was a green SUV van with 2 male subjects inside.

  2:14 Engine 6 Medic 3 trouyble breathing 22nd and Locust. The woman was hit in the head and had just had surgery for an anuerism and that she thought it had just "reactivated". (yes this is from the Rick's mart fight).

 2:32 Medic 2 Illness  Countryside Manor 205 Marine dr.

 2:40 APD was sent to APD station for a woman out front who was having trouble with another woman. She will be out front in her vehicle.

 2:44 Engine 6 Illness Countryside Manor Person coding ( no pulse and not breathing).

  APD was trying to serve a warrant on the near south west side last night about 3:00. I was in that area and seen them at the door but no one answered. When they left they were hearing loud noises and yelling. They did not find where it was coming from. I heard them also while I was out and wondered at first what it was. Then I realized the fair ended yesterday and I was hearing them knock it down and pack it up. 

 That was all I heard. There were a couple of calls that I did not understand and one of them was with animal control would not come out.  Have a great day or night as it is late now.
