Judge George Pancol takes the stage in Grease at Ridge Crossing Auditorium

ANDERSON, IN - Madison County Juvenile Court Judge George Pancol will be taking the stage as Vince Fontaine in the upcoming production of Grease.  Grease is being perfomed by Kidz Take the Stage (KTS) with permission from Samuel French on Friday July 24th and Saturday July 25th at 7pm.  Grease is being directed by Darlene Lee and Marcie Greenlee, formerly of Lee's Theatrical Productions.

The KTS performance of Grease includes a cast of teenagers through adults and features the familiar Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies", evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'", "It's Raining on Prom Night", and "Alone at the Drive-In Movie", recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.

This performance will take place at Ridge Crossing Auditorium (formerly Lee's Theatrical Productions), located at 1426 W. 53rd St. in Anderson.  Seating is reserved and tickets are $10 each.  For more information or to purchase tickets, call 765-641-0093, email kidzstage@aol.com, or stop by Ridge Crossing Auditorium between 9am and 4pm Mondays through Fridays.  For more information about KTS, please visit www.kidzstage.net.

KTS would like to thank the following local businesses for their support of Grease: Advanced Hearing Care, Mill Direct Carpet, South Main Street Fruit Market, Reeder Heating and Air Conditioning, Frazier's Dairy Maid, D. Ashley Design and Events, and Myers Auto World.
