NEWS IN THE NIGHT 07-13-09

  It was really slow this morning. Here is what I have today.

  2:09 Medic 1 Person ill MCPD jail. Female inmate possible overdose.

  2:35 APD was sent to the area of  1200 block of Forest dr. The caller heard a noise in his backyard and saw two male subjects walking northbound. The caller would like the area checked periodically.

  2:36 APD was sent to the 400 block of w 22nd for a woman having trouble with a man there now. The caller said that he was fighting her and several other subjects in the house. It was called a service call after the officers were there for a little while.

  2:54 APD was out on a car in the 400 block of w 22nd. It was not related to the last call.

  2:55 APD was sent out to the Mar Jon Motel on e 53rd st. The caller gave a room number and said that she had witnessed drug activity. It was later found that she had been there earlier in the day to pick up someone and that is when she witnessed it.

  4:43 APD was sent to 804 Hazlett  which is Monday Boyz for an alarm call. many units were dispatched to this when the key holder arrived as it is a very large building and a lot of officers were needed. A signal 100 was called at 5:09 while they all went through it. It was cancelled at 5:22 and the building checked secure.
