NEWS IN THE NIGHT 07-15-09

 Another really slow morning while I was out.

 2:50 APD was sent to the 200 block of w 8th for an alarm. It checked secure.

 A little after 3:00 APD was sent to 29th and Meridian for a woman on foot. The caller was passing by and thought that he heard her yell for help. She had two black males following her in a car. The officers were there very quickly but could not find them after a good search of the area.

 4:48 APD was sent to the 1200 block of Drexel dr for an alarm. The caller was in the house and was not sure what kind of alarm was going off but she was afraid to come downstairs. I did not hear what the officer said exactly about the alarm but he did not seem to think there was a real problem. It sounded like everything checked secure.
