NEWS IN THE NIGHT 08-07 -09

  Stuff happens, here's todays stuff.

   2:27 APD was sent to 12th and Madison to the car wash for a car playing loud music.

   2:42 Ladder 1, Medic 1, Rescue  Lincolnshire apts 300 block of w 12th st. unconscious.

   3:18 Engine 6  200 block of w 19th public service.

   3:28 APD was flagged down at the Ramada, a limo driver wanted to report theft from his limo.

   3:28 APD traffic stop Hazlett and Madison.

   3:31 I missed the AFD getting sent but APD was sent to the 27 mm of I-69 for a cyclist hit by a vehicle ( a semi I heard a little later). The injured man was up and conscious and talking. He said that he felt fine. ISP shut down that side of I-69 for a while. The man was taken to the hospital and his motorcycle was towed.

   4:29 APD traffic stop on Scatterfield just north of Mounds rd.

   4:33 APD was sent to the 2000 block of e 8th. A third party caller said that a woman was talking to him and she said "she just wants to die". I did not really hear the outcome of this call. The dispatcher did have her on the phone and told her to let the officers in.

   5:17 APD was sent to the 3500 block of Oaklawn for a male black trying to break into a womans apartment. She had a protective order against him. He left on foot.

   5:28 APD was sent to the Courtyard apts.  for several subjects being loud in a dowstairs apartment.
