Accident on Interstate 69 (exit 22) Results in Death

ANDERSON, IN - At 9:13 a.m., officers from the Anderson Police Department were dispatched to the northbound off-ramp of Interstate 69 (exit 22) to investigate a single car accident. According to witness accounts, the vehicle struck a pole and the car flipped.
The driver, alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The northbound ramp has been temporarily closed while the investigation continues.
Additional details will be made available as they become known to police.
