NEWS IN THE NIGHT 08-27 -09

 It was a pretty steady night while I was out. At one point though I managed to get the radio stuck and did not realize that it was not scanning. Here is what I have for you today.

   1:15 APD was sent to the 1100 block of w 2nd for a male and female fighting. The first officer was hearing things slamming. One of the parties left and that was the end of that call.

   Around 1:35 I missed where it was but APD was sent out to an empty house that someone a couple of  seen flashlights lighting up inside. They were behind Modern trailer sales and on Drexel and in the area of Picea.

   1:55 APD was sent to the 2200 block of Cedar to contact a woman about her daughter.

   2:45 APD was sent to Low Bob's Tobacco 1304 w 53rd. The alarm company heard something crashing through.

   3:32 APD was sent to the 700 block of w 24th for a man having trouble with a woman there now.

   At 4:20 I noticed the scanner was stuck so I do not know if I missed anything.

   4:29 APD traffic stop I-69  at the on ramp southbound 22 mm.

   5:09 APD was sent to the 1800 block of Horton dr. for a trouble unknown call. A woman said that a man was causing her trouble and that he was walking towards Raible ave and then she hung up.

   I missed the time but APD was sent to the 600 block of  w 29th for a woman that battered another woman.

   And that is all I heard this morning
