NEWS IN THE NIGHT 08-30-09

 It was very busy at times so some of the calls were interfering with the others. I try to keep everything straight and usually can but I am not sure about last night.It was almost dead for a little over the first hour that I listened then it picked up.  Here is what I have for you today.

   3:55 Medic 3 200 block of w 19th st person ill.

   3:58 APD was sent to the 1500 block of n Madison for a 911 hang up call. The second time they heard a female she could not speak ( I just repeat it I do not always understand it).

   4:00 APD was sent to the 2200 block of w 28th for a woman having trouble with another woman there now.  A minute or so later the caller said the woman took her keys and was now hitting her boyfriend with a bat. A woman was taken to jail from this call.

   4:19 APD was sent to the Rick's mart at Madison and MLK ( this call was first being dispatched to the 2400 block of Locust) to meet with a male subject in a white Tahoe about a battery. The suspect was on foot in the area. Right after the call was first dispatched the dispatcher informed the officers that the suspect was in the Rick's mart. Right after that they were informed that the two were fighting in the parking lot. A scene tech was called to the 2400 block of Locust for this call.

   4:22 APD was sent to the 1700 block of Euclid for a woman banging on her door and begging for someone to let her in.

   Someone went to the Hospital from a battery. The officers had found a tooth and a lot of blood. I am not sure which call this was from. St Johns called APD at 4:30 to let them know that the man wanted to file battery charges.

  4:51 APD was sent to the 3200 block of Raible for a woman having trouble with a man refusing to leave.  

  And then it was quiet as far as new calls went.  I hope that everyone has a great day!
