NEWS IN THE NIGHT 09-07 -09
Hey guess who? It was quiet after I got started. There was one interesting call though and it kind of took some time to sort out. I am not even sure that they had it all sorted out but they were sure working on it. Here it is.
2:50 APD was called to the drive up of the Taco bell at 10th and Scatterfield for a red Cavalier with a possibly intoxicated driver and two other females (all 3 females). Police arrived quickly and found them still there. It sounded like from what I was hearing that the driver may have been impaired but not from alcohol. One of the officers warned the officers on scene to be careful of needles. A wrecker was called for the car and a taxi was called for the other two females. Before the officers were through they found a bag of clothes in the car that had someone Else's ID with it. The driver said that the car was not hers that it belonged to her nephew and she did not know his name. The other women also did not know who the girl was . The driver then went on to say that she did not know who anyone was. The car VIN was not on file but the car was registered out of Kokomo. I am not sure who really owned the car but I would be interested to know how it all turned out.
And that was it for me today. Have a great Labor day!
