Siren Sounding Likely Routine Maintenance, Testing

Topics: , Types:

ANDERSON, IN - Routine maintenance and testing of the city’s 22 emergency sirens will result in sounding of each siren Monday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 12, according to Emergency Management Director Frank Dick.

With the weather forecast calling for sunny days, Dick said it is unlikely that a one-time sounding of a siren will mean an emergency situation is in the offing. Citizens of Anderson are advised to keep their eyes open.
