‘Traveling’ City Hall Sessions August 13 & 15

ANDERSON, IN - Mayor Kevin S. Smith has set two “Traveling” City Hall Sessions for the week of August 13.  The town meetings, conducted in various locations throughout the city, include a short discussion by the mayor followed by a question and answer session.  

• Monday, August 13, 2007, from 6 to 7 p.m., at New Horizons United Methodist Church, 611 E. 53rd St.  The event will be in the church sanctuary.

• Wednesday, August 15, 2007, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Southdale Tower, 524 W. 53rd St. The event will be in the community room.

Mayor Smith’s City Hall Sessions allow local government to respond directly to citizens. Every city department is represented at these sessions to respond to specific inquiries. By hearing residents’ questions, the mayor and city administrators may learn what is important to residents.
