ANDERSON, INDIANA - After 10 months, the downtown Anderson Business Incubator is thriving. The public is invited to an Open House Thursday, October 18 from 2-4 p.m. to see the businesses in action and to receive applications for additional ABI openings. The ABI is located at 7th and Meridian Streets.
Open House visitors will find ABI businesses are operating according to written plans and they are building clientele in diverse businesses, such as silkscreening, vinyl sign graphics applications, debt collection, artistic visual creations, journalism and limousine services.
The order of events for the Open House is as follows:
- 2 p.m. – Refreshments and displays by ABI businesses.
- 2:30 pm. – Short program with Mayor Kevin S. Smith, Dr. Terry Truitt and ABI Director DeWayne Landwehr, introducing the Anderson Business Incubator program and its tenants.
- 3-4 p.m. – Visitation with ABI tenants; ABI officials will be available to speak with prospective clients.
