I'm sorry, why again do we have yet another reference to Salmon Patties?

The Salmon is rich in Omega 3 and when formed into a patty, will ROCK your world!

Remember Tuesday is "All you can eat" Salmon Patties at participating MCLs and in every mothers kitchen across the US, if they love you.

Apology accepted!  Do you have a comment or a question concerning the health benefits of the salmon patty?

I didn't see that this thread required questions...or answers.   Where is the disclaimer?

Wait, are Salmon Patties really high in Omega 3? I have high blood pressure and have been told that I should eat things high in Omega 3 to help keep my heart healthy.  If thats true, I may need to give them another try.  I may have to learn to choke down a patty made of fish buttholes and fish lips again.

You can get the same benefit from a bag of peanuts and they go good with an ice cold adult beverage.

Salmon and most all deep water fish are very high in Omega 3. You can also buy Salmon Oil capsules OTC or ask your Doc to Rx Lovaza, formally Omacor. They are FDA approved and they're suppose to 98% pure Omega 3. If you get the OTC Salmon Oil ir Fish Oil capsules at your pharmacy, store them in your freezer and take the caps frozen. Two advantages of taking them frozen are they don't start to disolve until they are in your intestines which keeps you from having fish breath or heaven forbid, fishy burps! Frozen caps also are easier to swallow if you have problems taking meds. Omega 3 will not only help your Bp but help with your cholesterol and joint problems. Another OTC that will help raise your HDLs is Niacin. Niacin will make some people feel flush, but don't stop as it usually passes within a few days.
