The printer is sitting directly under the window but the computer keeps saying "Can't Find Windows!" What's up with that??

;)

Ask or pass as you wish. And thanks!

Dear CC,

How did you get to be the forums best koolaid? Was it hard work or natural ability?

Aspiring for koolaid greatness,

Dear Patriot "Angry Sam" Dan,

I am thinking this is a technical question of the highest order.  As a matter of fact, it's of such high order that you must have a triple top secret clearance level to be able to hear the answer. Please mail your credentials while I contemplate the answer.

Musingly yours,

CC-Gal

Dear Oh Most High, Wisdom Possesser In A Technical Sense Provider To All, and All Around Giver Of All That Is Good And Great To The Masses, please consider the follwing query: Did you know that 1.00000 and .99999 can be mathematically shown to be equal? How is that possible? I walk away humbly backwards while you muse over this one.

The thread topic is technical, not mathematical.

Dear Oh Most High, Wisdom Possesser In A Technical Sense Provider To All, and All Around Giver Of All That Is Good And Great To The Masses, please consider the following query: I ran across this machine language code: 169 1 160 0 153 0 128 153 0 129 153 130 153 0 131 200 208 241 96; what does the 153 mean? Is this, your highness, technical enough? I walk away humbly backwards while you muse and mull.

I think you are just out to attempt to make me look like I don't know much....so I'll admit it, I have no clue what 153 in particular means, but I can tell you that the code will print the letter A 1000 times.  I can do the same thing....search the web for things I know nothing about and then present it as a question, even though through research I already know the answer.

From this point on, I will not respond to any questions you ask.  You don't need help from me.

Aww CC, it was all just in fun. My real question is that a few posts back you mentioned 'java script.' What is that? You can rest assured that I am the one who knows nothing about computers. You know 1,000 times more than me, I do believe.

Another serious query: How did you manage to become so knowlegable about computers? You really do seem gifted in this area, not saying that you are not gifted in others...
