And yes, the AFP 'equipment room' consists of very little at the moment (and none of them fancy moving picture devices - we have an 8-track in the newsroom, though. don't ask why...) - it's difficult to start something with nothing, though, and still manage to survive. it's taken three years because Rome wasn't built in a day...

OMG OMG OMG!
Okay...this may be complicated but I'm SOOO gonna try to get there. My friend is coming in from Columbus the 28-1st, but if I can convince Lefty to stay home with ALL the kids, all 7 of them (my 3, her 4) her and I will come up. I know none of you know her, but she's a nut and she'll fit right in. Unless we do it on the 27th (I don't have a calendar handy to know what night that is) then I can come solo.

I really hope I can make this one. I haven't been to a meetup in ages. Mostly because Lefty isn't a real big fan of my posting on the forums, but since he knows I'll not give it up, I try not to mention it TOO much to him. Forum meetups, though, make him cringe. LOL
