Kpaul, I don't know the whole story, but I did take a drive-by tour of the crystal arch during my recent visit to Andersonia. I heard that it did light up at one time, and was told by more than one person that it looks pretty cool lit up, but for some reason that now escapes me, the recently
hospitalized, I mean, crazy, I mean demented, I mean off his nutdeparted mayor wouldn't replace the bulbs or something such as that. I was also told that some people think it'd look better without the balls in it, but having never seen it lit, I couldn't give an opinion on that one. I did like the way it changes, because of the angles, as you drive by it."Balls in it?" HMMM.
