This is the link to receive your coupon(s) for the HDTV converters. Apparently the coupons are given on a "first come, first serve" basis. Each household can have a maximum of two coupons.

These are for the old tv's who still use rabbit ears or antenea.

Current cable subscribers will not need to purchase a converter box.

I am not a cable subscriber or satellite subscriber. So I applied for 2.  Even when I do decide to get one of those services, I still have a tv  tuner card on my desktop computer that uses rabbit ears I won't be having cable or satellite in my computer room. :(

I ordered two also - we don't have cable on the kids' TVs. Plus, with all of the rising costs, I don't know how long we'll be able to afford to have cable!

Today..I am going to Walmart to pick up my HD TV converter boxes. Online they list two brands.  I'm going to try the RCA brand because it's cheaper. With my coupons (which looks like a gift card) I will be paying $9.87 + tax for each of them. Not bad. ;)
