Dr. Phil wants to help Anderson solve its mayoral problems
Ummm...$8 ricker's t-shirts come to mind.
“He stands erect by bending over the fallen. He rises by lifting others.”
The only way to continue this progress is to get a spot on Springer.
Congratulations, Kevin. You rock!
They call me "Froggy"
I think that kind of shows what national TV thinks of Smiths stunts. He is a joke!
I like the t-shirt idea. How about this:
Anderson Free Press
Real News for the city with dueling mayors!
"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
I would buy one of those.

Heh. I was going to call Lisa today, but didn't get to it before 5pm...
I have hope that 2008 is the year, though. Lots of things on the horizon...
Or, you could have a t-shirt with this on front:
Kris Ockomon, Mayor
Time for a Change
And this on the back:
Kevin Smith, Mayor too
Continue the Progress
The real beauty of this one is that an entrepreneur could sell it to both sides, and it would be good even after the court case is settled.
"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
Kevin does not care about the city or the taxpayers, all he cares about is his own ego.

T-Shirts would feed his ego. As long as his name keeps getting out there. I'm still trying to figure out where he thinks he can be Mayor, when he's out. Now that Ockomon is sworn in, if he can't hold office, it should go to the next in line. This is the biggest joke I've ever seen in Anderson, and I've seen plenty. I'm actually glad I'm here to be a first hand witness. No one would ever believe it. I wondered how long it would be before MSNBC got ahold of it. I'm waiting for it to be on the Today show, with Matt Lauer.

...and sell the shirt to both camps.
You in marketing, Bard, or just a genius. ;)

Dr. Phil wants to resolve Anderson’s problems.
Per the HB: "Lisa Patton, public information officer for the city, said a producer from “Dr. Phil,” the nationally syndicated talk show hosted by psychologist Phil McGraw, contacted the city to ask Mayor Kris Ockomon to be on the show, along with former mayor Kevin Smith.
......" 'When we are contacted by celebrity entertainment venues, such as Dr. Phil, to mediate our differences, it’s hard to take the former mayor’s allegation seriously,' " she said.

What a break for Anderson! Drudge Report, MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olberman", and now Dr. Phil!! Any suggestions on how to capitalize on our national attention?
