Scam alert!

Today I've received two calls from a company claiming to be sending me a free phone.  I've kept the calls short and terse and kept the profanities to just a couple.  I did some quick research and found an article with nearly the same scam listed in Jacksonville, NC.  If you receive these calls, do not give out your SSN or your credit card number!  (Not that AFP readers would be that uninformed... but hey, thought I'd help warn you all!)  These phishers tend to call all the numbers in a certain area, so pass the info around to friends, neighbors, etc.
