December 22, 2007 was the first day of winter, On December 22, 07, central Indiana was pitch dark at 17:30 (5:30p.m. if you went to Parris Island) In 31 days,,, central Indiana has gained 40 min. of day light.The sun has gained 7* in the horizon. January 22, 2008,,, marks 31 days into winter. Out of a total of 90 days per season, we have only 59 days to go before the first day of spring. (That day,,, will be March 20th.) With the El Nino winds,,, Indiana should have a "Early" spring.
Weather men and Women across the U.S. are agreeing with this predction,, The thought process goes all the way back to the 15th century with astronomer "Galileo" Galilei.
