Is this thing on?

New Feature at AFP

(batteries not included)

Promoting Haikus
Now they're their own content type
Are you excited?

----------------

Ok, you can now find 'Haiku' on the create content page. I figure this way we can keep track of them better?

Also, if they're separated, you can comment on one without the thread being split in a million different directions.

We can do this rather easily with other content types too, if anyone has ideas. I'm listening.

If you go to the 'create content' page, where you can add a 'forum' or add an 'event'... well, now you can add a 'haiku'...

The status of Haiku has been elevated to its own content type to make things easier with some of the good ones we have here.

Plus, we may be the first newspaper website in the United States with Haiku in the main navigation (see the horizontal navigation underneath the 'masthead'...)

Kpaul, in the future, I'd recommend you stick to one-syllable words when talking to Sippy. You know they don't understand that fancy-schmancy language (i.e. "masthead.") down in her neck of the woods. :D
