ANDERSON, IN - Are you seeking employment or want to increase your job-seeker skills? Then make sure that you mark your calendar for the WorkOne job fair that will take place on March 13th, 2008, 10am-3pm at the new multi-purpose church facility of Madison Park, in Anderson. Over thirty employers are committed and the list continues to grow. Break-out rooms are also available for career development workshops, such as building your resume and enhancing your interviewing skills. Workshops begin at 8:30am.
The City of Anderson is providing shuttle transportation from the downtown CATS terminal to the Madison Park event location on the hour, starting at 8:00am. “We want to give every citizen the opportunity to attend,” says Mayor Ockomon. The Mayor’s Courtesy Shuttle has the capacity to transport 23 citizens per trip and is handicap accessible. The departure and arrival schedule is as follows:
