For the record, I made the decision to go through and unpublish a lot of comments today - from both sides of what transpired. I don't want to lose any members over this.

I do think Daisy's behavior was uncalled for, though, and out of the blue. I'd like to give her a chance to do right and stay on at AFP as a part of the community here.

What says the community?

By all means, let her stay.  Everyone has a bad day, and if something has been festering without resolution, it can come out at the most inappropriate times.  There are better ways to handle things though.

Would be plus if we could all make this a learning experience for the community as a whole...

I say let her stay. She is entitled to her opinions and knows what will follow if she attacks someone. If she can take the counter attacks on herself and still want to take part on this forum, that is her right to do so.

I do not for one moment approve of the personal attacks that was made today, on ANYONE"S part. This includes mine also, but we are all entitled to our opinions and we are all human.

I may not have been very kind in my attacks but I will ALWAYS defend my friends, especially if they are being viciously attacked for no apparent reason.

If tables were turned and someone were treating Daisy that way without her doing anything to warrant that type of behavior, I think she knows I would defend her in the same manner.

Okayy....I push for someone to get outside their brain and think and get called names first, but I'M the one wrong. My anger stemmed from being called the equivalent of a snob.

That's a good point, Daisy. Might have been lost in the whole scuffle, though. That is, what started the whole thing.

I'm not sure if Zia was trying to be mean, though? I can't speak for her, but there is a lot of good natured teasing that goes on here.

I think so, kpaul. I do. I reacted and that's all that will be remembered.

I voted "No"

Mind you, a sarcastic remark out of fun or in a playful manner is ok in my book. Just as Irish.

The attacks were made toward CC first!! Then Zia tries to defend a friend and got slammed. It's a snowball effect.

Actually, it started in the other thread first. The "high faluting" comment was what set it all off. How the hell is that spelled, anyway? Falooting? Faluting?
