Making Sense: A Gathering of Clowns, Acrobats, and Con Men
You’d never know it from the media’s Obama worshipers covering it, but this week’s Democratic National Convention was a three-ring circus complete with an assortment of sword swallowers, clowns and magicians.
It was the magicians who took the center ring and proceeded to convert their publicly expressed doubts about Barack Obama into ringing endorsements of his alleged fitness to be this nation’s chief executive and commander in chief.

Brian Howey: Evan Bayh’s surreal odyssey
strangest thing. Evan Bayh could be sitting inside his house, peer into his
computer screen, and see the front of his home. Or he could go jogging, and
watch it on ABC News, where he could also hear news of Susan Bayh’s new hairdo.

Second Harvest Column: Hillary Clinton at the Wigwam
I have not committed to a candidate for U.S. president. That did not stop me from standing in the long line to get into the Anderson Wigwam to see Hillary Clinton. The line itself was inspirational. So many young people. So many women. “Pantsuits are Awesome,” read a sign in the crowd.
Hillary Clinton Visit at the Wigwam
By CelticFan
I arrived at the wigwam parking lot around 9am. There werent too many people there at that time, except for law enforcement of course. I sat in my car for about 40 minutes before i decided to go and stand in line. I started to see quite a few people make their way towards the entrance on the 12th street side of the building so I figured I better get in line before it really got crowded.

Much of the current analysis of the
presidential campaign battle is missing the point. All of the media
attention is focused on the Hillary Clinton vs. Barack Obama
heavyweight fight as if it will decide the election. But it seems
observers in Washington, D.C. haven't yet sensed the undercurrent
running in the country, which for the first time in four years has
turned and is running the Republican's direction. The election map is
changing. And with the changes, it will offer a totally new
red/blue-state picture when the dust clears next November.
