Should there be a smoking ban in public places in Madison County?

I smoked for over 40 years and quite on a weekend. If I can anyone can. I get so tired of smelling like smoke after being out to eat in a no smoking section. Ha!!!! And why is it that all of the hard luck people with no job or on welfare have money to my smokes and beer and drive junkers that should be off the road??

I hate to smell smoke myself, but what I hate even worse is govt. interfering with private enterprise.  If I don't like the atmosphere I can go somewhere else, but I will also be sure to let the proprietor know why I won't go there.  I did exactly that with my favorite Mexican joint.  They're now building a new building because they need more room and they will be doing a better job separating the smoking and non-smoking sections (currently, it's just a half wall).
