In the infamous words of Whitney Houston, HELL TO THE NAW! The issues in the papers that were filed are all the same BS crap they brought up during the campaign about utilities and such. The people have spoken. They elected Ockoman. Smith and friends should just slink off and accept defeat with the little dignity, if any, they have left!
What she said. Sippy!
That would be a 'NO' on the injunction. It is sad when grown people reduce themselves to acting like a group of two-year-olds, and I know two-year-olds that act better then they have. I don't like what happened, so I am gonna throw a tantrum until I get my way. Sniff sniff. The Smith clan lost whatever dignity they had when they filed for an injunction. Then to wait until the last moment to file it and then to have it thrown in their face when it was denied, OMG how funny is that?! It is nice to see at least one Republican can accept the defeat with dignity. Kudos to the Judge. It seems that they apparently need someone to come in and change their soggy diapers, or get their panties out of the twist they are in. Face it fella, you lost. Quit crying. Go home. It's politics. Try again in four years, but if the Repubs were smart, they would choose a different person to offer to the public.
NO,the lil kev group brought this up again because they cant get it,they lost the election,Anderson did not give you the majority of the vote. You lost,we dont want you anymore that is why you got less votes than KO.
At this point, I think it's better to leave it as is. The residency issue is not as crystal clear as I would like it to be, but that should have been handled better by both parties BEFORE the election, not a month and a half afterwards. We'll be at least 25% of the way through 2008 before we have the matter finalized and that will have an effect on morale, economic development, and every department that got a new department head.
Yanking the reins from Kris's hands and handing them to someone who was not popular with his own employees to begin with, and who isn't winning any brownie points with them even now, is a big mistake. People aren't going to riot in the streets, but the electorate who voted will be very unhappy. It makes you wonder what would happen in the election after that.
